I went across an amazing photo-shoot done by Kim Kyung Soo. He was asked by Vogue Korea to do a serious of fashion portraits that would capture the traditional Korean custom the “Hanbok”. What I like about his photos is that is tells a story and I tried so hard to keep that feeling when I drew them.

I chose this book because I dont like to stick to only one kind of art materials and I bet a lot of you are like me. Changing the materials you use boosts your creativity and even though I dont have the space nor the time to make art that is messy I like to read this book and plan on future projects that *inshallah* soon ill get to make!

I found a french documentary about the fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent and his friend and lover Pierre Bergé. I loved how it started, and loved how their story was told using the art pieces and photos they have owned and taken through the years. I recommend you watch L’amour fou, and make sure you have a note next to you to write down all the interesting names of designers, artists, models and muses to research about them later!
